Diaphragm Gas Meter G4 (Anti-Tampering)

Diaphragm gas meters are one of the most common gas meters in measuring domestic and commercial gas consumption. These gas meters consists of two chambers , each divided in two by a flexible rubber called diaphragm which moves from one side to the other by pressure force.

When gas enters the gas meter, the two chambers would charge and discharge alternatively. As the chambers open and close and the diaphragms start to work, the diaphragms’ displacement would change into the rotation movement of a crank using a leverage system exists inside of gas meter. Finally the crank movement causes an electrical or mechanical indicator to work.
