Concerning the first and main means of supplying gas with appropriate pressure, regulator plays the major role. Regulator is a device that reduces the pressure and keeps it constant at the desired level. When distributing gas in gas installations, this device comes into play and causes the gas to reach different parts with proper pressure. Regulator is one of the most important parts of the gas distribution system and can be considered as its heart.
Regarding performance quality, each regulator consists of 3 main components:
- Measuring or feeler part that measures and gauges outlet pressure.
- Flow limiting part which is a kind of valve that increases or decreases the flow rate.
- Loader part which opens and closes the limiting part in reaction to the measuring part and keeps the outlet pressure constant in the specified level.
In terms of performance, the regulators manufactured in Ekbatan Gas Control Company are Self-Operated-Regulators.

- Springs are made of steel or CK75 with Zinc Coating (upon customer order or weather conditions)
- Colored with electrostatic color process by automatic machines
- Calibrated and tested by the most accurate gas regulator calibration devices that are designed and manufactured exclusively in Ekbatan Gas Control Company, have no domestic or foreign similar pattern and have certificates from National Iranian Gas Company and other authentic scientific centers of country.
